AUTONOMOUS PHOTOVOLTAICS
Harness the power of the sun with autonomous photovoltaic systems that offer energy independence. Designed for areas without access to the grid or to enhance your energy independence, our systems combine innovation and reliability.
We offer integrated solutions for the installation of autonomous photovoltaic systems, from the study to the implementation. First, we assess your energy needs and available space to design a system that meets your requirements. We then supply and install high quality equipment such as panels, inverters and batteries. On completion of the installation, we carry out testing and provide you with full instructions for the correct operation and maintenance of the system.
FAQS
How much energy can autonomous systems produce?
The energy produced depends on the size of the panels, the capacity of the batteries and the duration of sunshine in your area. During the design, we calculate your needs to ensure they are fully met.
What if there is not enough sunshine?
Autonomous systems are designed to store energy in batteries for use during the night or on days of low sunshine. In addition, we recommend alternative energy sources (e.g. generators) for total autonomy.
What is the lifetime of an autonomous system?
- Photovoltaic panels have a lifespan of 20-25 years.
- Batteries, depending on the type (Li-Ion, AGM, GEL), last from 5 to 15 years.
- Inverters and charge controllers last about 10-15 years with proper maintenance.
Can I expand my system in the future?
Yes, the autonomous systems we are designing are scalable. You can add more panels, batteries or inverters depending on the increased energy consumption.
Do you need a permit for the installation of autonomous photovoltaics?
Usually no licence is required for stand-alone systems, as they are not connected to the network. However, if the installation is for professional use, local approvals may be required.
How soon does the investment pay off?
The payback period depends on the use and size of the system, but usually ranges between 5-10 years, depending on energy savings and electricity prices. If the installation is subsidised, the payback period is significantly reduced.
Are autonomous systems suitable for businesses?
Yes, stand-alone systems are ideal for businesses in remote areas or for those that want to reduce their dependence on the grid.
